It’s a gorgeous Saturday morning here on Colin, and 9:00 means one thing, the Monster Magic Saturday Show. Let’s do this. The sun’s shining, spirits are high, and so are the new arrivals at Monster Magic.
Black Pearl by Victor Zatko & Gentleman’s Magic (£69.99)
A stylish bead bracelet that doubles as a prediction effect: a named number between 1–20 matches the position of a single white (or gold) bead among the black ones. At first I dismissed it knowing the method, but the craftsmanship won me over. Made by a family of jewellers, it feels like real jewellery—weighty, examinable, and elegant. The tutorial is thorough, with convincers like showing the clasp in play. With a little practice, it’s smooth, natural, and works beautifully as an EDC. Presentation is key, frame it as intuition, not magic, and it becomes a casual, powerful piece.

Blank Vision by Giovani Cricchio(£25.99)
A clever take on drawing duplication using a blank deck. A participant draws anything, loses it in the pack, and you replicate it exactly. Gimmicked cards (you supply your own blank deck) do 99% of the work—no gaps, no holes, almost sleight-free. Reset is instant. Play it as billets, not playing cards, to give it a stronger mentalism feel. Easy, clean, and fooling.

Divide by Richard Griffin (£29.99)
A signed card is framed, split into six pieces, then restored and handed out. It’s almost self-working thanks to clever paper gimmicks. Easy reset, packs small, and works great as a surprise interlude after a card routine. Just handle the props carefully—they’re delicate but smartly designed.

Celestial Bell by TCC (£88.50)
A utility prop: a solid wood-and-brass bell that rings throughout your routine—until it doesn’t. At the end you reveal the clapper is gone. Beautifully made, examinable, and it comes with spares and a carry bag. The vanish of the clapper is fooling, though you can’t bring it back. Expensive, but it adds an elegant, audible magical moment to almost any routine.
