I have been playing around with this a bit and it works well. It does need a small amount of preparation depending on the effect you want to perform but this is very easy to do. The gimmicks are provided but you will need to provide a matching deck as that is not supplied.
No English instructions at all only subtitles, makes it difficult to read and watch at the same time.
Unfortunately I totally agree with the previous reviews. I already own the Grail which it is heavily based on and I don’t really see a great improvement on the original. The stickers provided are good but for the price it would not have hurt to include a few extras. Sadly this one is probably going in the bottom drawer.
I like it. I’m not sure how long it will last, but I hope it holds up for a while. If you look closely at one of the sides, you can spot the "secret" (on my particular unit, the craftsmanship isn’t 100% perfect). And sometimes, little balls of glue collect along the edges. The reset is quick (15 sec), but you can’t do it right in front of a spectator. I bought this because "Solid Condom" is currently out of stock (I honestly doubt anyone will ever come up with something better than that). Still, "Pocket Holy Wood" is a nice addition to one’s arsenal: the wood looks stylish, it’s lightweight, and the pocket version is easy to carry around. However, you can’t just hand the gimmick over for a spectator to examine—unlike with "Solid Condom." Also, for the price, I think they could have included an extra, ungimmicked piece of wood for a switch, as well as a couple of spare boxes.
Sorry Yes I new what I was getting wasnt expecting instructions to be without subtitles but still will dress a Dinner Jacket pocket the meathod is nothing new unless you are new to magic.
Thank you Alex
