The Awe-Sum Cube is a very powerful TOOL that will allow you to perform multiple routines such as:

Here is one of the effects you can do:

Card At Any Number
Have a deck of cards mixed by several spectators, introduce a prediction card and place that on the table.

Next, you introduce "the Awe-sum cube". It is a regular 2x2 cube but it has numbers on it. Each part of the cube has a number. You explain that the four numbers on one side can add up and generate a new number.

If you mix up the cube, you obviously generate another number.

In fact, a 2x2 cube has 3.674.160 combinations. Go figure...

Have your spectator mix up the cube as much as he likes and when he is done, he places the cube on the table. Now there is ONE side that nobody can see or nobody knows that number, which is the bottom side.

Explain the idea: they add up the numbers and count this many cards from the deck. The spectator turns over the cube revealing the numbers, counts down the number of cards he ended up with and ends up with one card.

  • It miraculously matches the prediction!
  • Everything is examinable.
  • No duplicates, no sticky or roughing stuff.
  • No forcing
  • Cards are genuinely mixed by your spectators
  • No manipulation, your spectators can deal of the cards

Highly recommended

I checked with a colleague and the maths that has gone into designing this cube is quite complex and very clever. Thank you that they've done the heavy lifting for us! I've already managed to make up four extra tricks using the forces that this cube gives you and I can't wait to think of others. I highly recommend the Awe-Sum. It's good value, well made and you won't be disappointed.

What a really clever cube

I like it when you get a trick that really gets your imagination going and even before you've finished the tutorial you're coming up with other things you can do with it. This is one of those tricks. The prop is well-made and colourful and a great innocent thing to start conversations and lead into a trick. Most people seem not to have seen a 2x2 cube before so it's intriguing but it all seems genuine as they know about cubes. The tutorial is well explained but the trailer really doesn't do justice to how much this cube can do! And there's even a bonus routine. I was concerned that the 6 might be confused for a 9 but this has been accounted for in the design. As always incredible service from Alex, the best magic shop in the world. I only came in for a pack of cards about a year ago! Thanks so much.

monster magic
