A Bright Spark

I thought hard before buying this product. I have several alternative routines where using actual flash paper, or string, is integral to the effect. So why would I want to buy a flash unit looking like a lighter, where the flash product is concealed? The answer is that, on occasions, I would like to use a flash to enhance effects like a production, a vanish or a transformation. For these purposes IGNITE is ideal. There is no fumbling for flash products. A simple flick of the lighter wheel does the trick. I would not be doing all of these flash effects for the same group of people!! That would be overkill. I vary what I do as I move between groups, so having IGNITE available to use at certain times is definitely a plus.

The unit looks like a normal lighter. I opted for the pale gold option, rather than the standard silvery colour, as I thought this would help me spot it easily on a crowded tabletop, and remember to pick it up!! The unit is made of steel, and can be conveniently carried on a felt covered magnet on a belt. IGNITE is well made and, instead of carrying lighter fuel, the base is adapted to store flash cotton safely. This is easily accessed to reset between tables.
