Angels & Demons: Dominion by Dead Rebel Magic

Back in 1893, some secret society came up with this test to see if you had second sight. You had to sort angels from demons using a deck you couldn't see. Then, halfway through, they flipped everything, angels turned into demons and vice versa. It's like they made it tricky just for a laugh, but somehow it all works in the end.

Dead Rebel Magic has dusted off this old idea with Angels & Demons: Dominion. It's a nod to Paul Curry's Out of This World, but with a bit more Victorian drama and fewer séances, thankfully.

The deck is a collection of 52 cards, each with its own angel or demon illustration. You use 26 for the main trick and can do whatever you fancy with the rest. It all comes in a box that looks like it was rescued from a forgotten archive.

You'll get a downloadable document pretending to be from 1893, from the Society of the 54. Print it out, make it look old, and Bob's your uncle. There's also a video tutorial, so you don't have to wing it completely.

This isn't about the method, really, it's about people going, "Wait, what just happened?" The box is a blank slate if you want to add some ageing effects yourself, and you'll need to sort out printing those Victorian documents on your own. Probably best not to use the office printer, though.
