Banked (Red Cap) by Taiwan Ben

So Eric Chien, who knows a thing or two about magic, says Taiwan Ben's tricks are pretty practical. Banked is his twist on the old Coin Through Bottle routine, and it's honestly not a bad shout.

Mike Liu reckons it's innovative, but let's be real: you borrow a coin, give it a thwack through the bottom of a plastic bottle, and then let folks inspect it like they're checking for smudges on a window. No fancy bottles, just one you might've fished out of the recycling. Not sure why it deceives folks so well, but it just does.

You get all the instructions along with a bit of extra kit to make it easier than you'd think. Mind you, it took me a few tries to pull it off without looking like I'd just committed a petty crime, but that's magic for you.

Works with most plastic bottles and folding coins like the US half dollar or UK 50p. You'll need your own folding coin, though, so don't forget that bit.
