DMC Elites Marked Playing Cards (V4 & V5)

Caveat: I'm very new, and very amatuer re card tricks. I'm not trying to fool the likes of 'Penn and Teller'. Just fool my mates who know even less about this stuff than I do. So I only do pretty simply stuff, and rely more on spinning some BS story to both 'dress the trick up' a little, and of course, to misdirect. That's always fun. :-)

I researched quite a few marked decks before settling on the DMC Elites. Yes (in card price terms) they aren't cheap. But IMHO, they're worth that extra money.

I really like the look of the DMC Elites. People don't spot them. (Some of the cheaper marked decks were sooooooo obvious even I could spot them... which says it all.) Yet, once you know what to look for, IMHO, it's true what they say... you can't 'unsee' them... and, they are easily read from a distance. In fact, more easily from a distance, I reckon.

The card 'direction' feature is probably a handy one. Though I'm not sure how necessary it is to have? (I'd previously just been using 'one way' cards like 7 of clubs.) Similar thoughts re the V5's Mnemonica stack feature, which isn't something I can see myself using. But for others...?

Summary: This is clearly a rank amatuer's take, but, the DMC Elite's look great. People don't spot them. Yet once you know what to look for, they're very easy to read (including from a distance).

And if you don't need the Mnemonica stack feature, then you can save a few dollars & go for the more readily available V4.

PS: I should add that Monster Magic, not only had the almost impossible to find DMC V5's available, but, at a price (including the price of postage) that was way way better than anyone else's. And my order even arrived pretty quickly too. (UK to Oz.) So a big thank you to Monster Magic. :-)
