The Effect:

You show two coins to a spectator, a Chinese coin with a hole in it and a half dollar. You start a very simple game with him during which he will have to follow the location of the 2 pieces.

As you visually place the silver coin in his hand and keep the one with the hole in yours, the two coins swap in a snap of your fingers! You're not dreaming, in a fraction of a second, the spectator finds himself with the Chinese coin in his own hand while he never opened his fist!

Simplicity perfected - excellent!!

Firstly I agree with the first reviewer - a high quality gimmick, with a refinement that adds to the deception. I also like the fact that the Chinese coin is an antique style instead of the shiny black enamel of many others.
Again, any experienced magician will immediately recognise what is probably one of the oldest and simplest of coin gimmicks. HOWEVER , the added value of this effect lies in the many subtleties employed in both the handling and extremely and well thought out routining which brings the gimmick in and out of play with constant convincers. Maxence has clearly spent much time honing this effect. The tutorial is well presented in great detail by Maxence and a colleague with many questions pre-empted. For all the methodology is fairly simple and straight forward for the basic routine and although within the grasp of many, it needs and deserves time spent in practice to polish - smoothness and fluidity are key to this effect.
Thoroughly recommended - buy now before they are all gone - many dealers are long sold out!

Wonderful gimmick

I knew what I would be getting as soon as I saw the trailer but I was still impressed with the amazing quality of the gimmick. I am working on my own routine with the gimmicks but other good ones are taught.
