Today, we’re honoured to present Free Thought by Steve Langston.
The magician spreads a deck of cards and invites the audience to freely think of any card. Attempting to capture the memory from the spectator's mind, the magician selects a card, flips it over, and places it back into the deck. When the cards are spread again, the spectator's card seems to have vanished from the face-up spread, leaving the face-down card as the thought of one.
With a snap, the magician reveals that it is all an illusion. The face-down card turns out to be blank, and the entire deck becomes blank as well. The thought-of card was never in the deck—it has been elsewhere all along—perhaps in a wallet, under a mat, in a pocket, or even on the spectator’s chair.
Just like its name, Free Thought embodies the freedom of choice and revelation. The set features a brand new TCC Triumph Playing Card design, including one gaff deck and one normal deck.

Another beautiful TCC effect on their triumph stock cards. You get two decks but only need one for the effect. Lovely tuition that has no wishy washy nonsense. One move towards the end but a very easy and basic one that beginners can master swiftly. Phases build up nicely and it flows seamlessly. I like the subtlety moments that Steve teaches to reinforce the power of what has just happened. Picked a copy up in the sale and glad I did. Look forward to testing this out tomorrow on the locals in the pub.

The OG perfect score was great and did its job for me for years , Perfect Score 2.0 outshines its original . Great tutorial going in depth on the mercury fold and even card splitting . 5 Stars !
The usual speedy delivery by Alex. Lovely props, and clever routine, although I haven’t used it in the trenches yet. Knocked one star off as the red poker chip had a minor chip (damage) in it. This is a product issue though and absolutely no reflection on Monster Magic.
Needs a bit of practice to get angles / timing down , but put that in and you’ve got a visual masterpiece in your hands . Instant reset , tutorial is fantastic 100% a worker
