Fully Automatic Card Trick (FACT) isn’t your typical card trick — because you don’t perform it. A member of your audience does.
They shuffle. They cut. They make every decision.
And yet… they not only find their own card - they create an impossible, unforgettable finale all by themselves.
FACT turns your participant into the star, while you sit back and let the magic happen.
"That is such a beautiful trick." - Penn Jillette
Your helper is handed a deck filled with simple instruction cards. They freely select a card, lose it back in the deck, then shuffle and cut to mix it thoroughly. After shuffling and dealing out some cards, they come across an instruction card. They do as it says until they find another, and another, and more. Somehow, they manage to impossibly locate their own selection-despite the process seeming completely fair. And as if that weren't enough, the final kicker is revealed: along with their chosen card, they've also uncovered its three perfect mates.
"When I first saw Caleb perform the "Fully Automatic Card Trick" on Fool Us I was smiling, ear to ear, because it had all the hallmarks of a great piece of magic: engaging presentation, completely deceptive, and unlike anything I've seen before. I'm a big fan of Caleb and this trick!"? - Joshua Jay
FACT is a complete, professional-grade routine, refined and audience-tested by Caleb over the past decade.
Blending multiple layered methods with a brilliantly engineered deck, it delivers a performance that’s both deceptively clever and deeply entertaining.
It’s not just a trick — it’s a routine designed to fool, engage, and leave a lasting impression on any audience.
Many tricks claim to be self-working — and FACT is no exception. But FACT goes a step further...
The participant does everything. All they have to do is follow simple instructions — and those instructions are printed right on the cards.
No sleights. No guiding. Just pure, hands-off magic that feels impossible.
No sleights. No guiding. Just pure, hands-off magic that feels impossible.FACT is a surefire crowd pleaser and will amaze any audience. The reset takes less than a minute, and you receive everything to need to start performing this miracle out of the box.
This effect is a real fooler! There is several layers but the audience are kept interested throughout. It’s by no means hard but I did have to practice to ensure the best delivery (which way to place certain cards in the deck as an example). Everyone I’ve done this to has reacted great and it’s an effect well worth the effort. Reset takes a little time but I’ve speeded that up by summarising what’s necessary. You are told what specific cards to put where but instead of placing 10 specific cards you can just place 10 cards - hopefully this makes sense when you buy the effect! I take it everywhere now and it’s also made me look at other Caleb Wiles effects.

LOVE IT
Love this trick. Yes, there is a bit of a setup. Participant does the trick, with a little guidance from the magician so it makes them feel that they are the mind reader and the performer. Such a fooler for the layperson.

So easy to follow. Yes it does take a bit of setting up. It's not just a few cards you've got to put back in order but the whole pack, but it's well worth it. And you make the spectator feel as if they are doing everything, just a little bit of guidance from the magician. No sleights at all, nothing to remember. It's a really good trick and such a fooler to the layperson

Amazing
A really amazing effect, with almost nothing to remember. The spectator is made to feel like the star of the show. It requires a lot of setting up, but the tutorial is very easy to follow and it's not very complicated. Plus, it's really worth it for the effect on the spectator and audience.

Love It!
This is a great effect that really gets the participant involved. Incredibly easy to perform, the deck does all the work and reset, although not instant, is quicker than I expected.
Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.

I completely recommend to everyone that loves magic 10/10 5 stars an utterly brilliant trick with a fun and surprising method.
I was quite surprised when watching the tutorial how easy it is to perform. 100% recommendation so please bye this amazing trick from Monster Magic the best online magic store in the uk.
Superb tutorial. 40 minutes is a decent length for what many people throw away as a gag item.
Solid lessons on misdirection as well as technique. And of course, customer service was excellent from Alex.
