A signature effect by Julien Labigne, which has become a true reference in mentalism… now available in a sumptuous Luxury edition.
When it was first released in 2010, Gambler achieved worldwide success. Adopted by many magicians and mentalists around the globe, it quickly became a staple of professional repertoires.
Are you looking for a powerful, original mentalism effect that is ready to perform and enhance your shows? Gambler now returns in an even more elegant and impactful Collector’s Edition.
Created and performed for many years by Julien Labigne in his professional repertoire — notably in his show 4 Secrets — this unique effect is presented for the first time in a high-end version, designed to elevate the experience and strengthen its impact on your audience.
If you want to add a true jewel of mentalism to your repertoire, this effect is for you.
How does the effect unfold?
You remove from your pocket a beautiful wooden collector’s box containing several carefully selected objects centered around the theme of gambling and chance.
The spectator then makes three completely free choices:
They choose a chip between two values: 500 or 1000 — 1 in 2 chance
They freely decide the face of a die — 1 in 6 chance
They cut wherever they wish in a deck they have shuffled themselves — 1 in 52 chance
That’s a 1 in 624 chance of obtaining this final combination.
And yet…
Your prediction matches the spectator’s three choices exactly, in a totally inexplicable way.
An impossible moment. Clear, direct, with no apparent manipulation. An immediate impact that leaves your audience… speechless.

Son wanted this product but it wasn't in stock. We COULD have ordered it from a competitor, but last time they took two weeks to deliver instead of the 3 days max promised. Alex ordered it in and had it shipped out pronto - just SO glad Alex is about! Son has had various thumb tips but when he showed them to me the warm white light was much brighter than I'd expected - definitely thumb tips with a difference.
This is a fantastic utility device for card/bill/billet to impossible location. v2.0 is now twice as strong as v1.0 meaning the switch happens even quicker. Very nicely built.
An absolutely amazing magic trick that is so easy. The gimmick is great and the instructional video explains everything you need to know about the product. Once the card had finished moving however I did a hear the gimmick a tiny bit but besides that it completely silent. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
