In Flight by David Regal

"The trick I perform more than any other" - David Regal

"A very fine method and presentation… I would recommend it unhesitatingly." - Herb Zarrow

"First a word of advice. Trust me when I suggest that all well-seasoned “workers” toss out your Tossed-Out Decks! That’s right: get rid of them! Once you experience David Regal’s In Flight, you will be in command of the most bewildering and diabolical feat of pure mentalism one could imagine. I can personally attest to the stunning impact this effect had on the very knowledgeable attendees at the 2004 4F convention. Included with the ingenious deck and professional script, David has been granted permission to share a wonderful subtilty of Wayne Dobson’s. On a personal note: in the early days I became friends with the legendary David Hoy and witnessed his signature performance of this effect on many occasions. If possible, Mr. Hoy would be the first to give In Flight a standing ovation." - Roger Klause

There are two things that can’t be done with The Tossed Out Deck. You can’t have the cards examined, and you certainly can’t have them shuffled. At least, you couldn’t do that until David Regal gave this plot the royal treatment. Three cards are thought of, and the performer is able to successfully reveal those thought-of cards. Perform incredibly direct mind reading with In Flight by David Regal.

Here’s what happens:

1. You invite someone to not only examine but also shuffle the deck of cards.
2. The deck is rubber-banded and then handed out to the audience.
3. Your audience has a free choice of where to peek into the deck.
4. You can instantly name the exact cards they are thinking of!

In Flight is David Regal’s brilliant approach to the Tossed Out Deck Effect. You receive a very special deck of cards that you can put in the hands of a spectator. They can not only examine but also shuffle the deck of cards before it’s bound up and tossed into the audience. This incredible advancement on the classic Tossed Out Deck effect fools magicians and devastates lay people.

The routine is easy to perform, and the gimmicked deck does all the work for you. The included tutorial features a full performance in the P3 Studio as well as a detailed breakdown of all the nuances that David Regal has developed over years of performing this to make it a real fooler. Peek inside your spectator’s mind right with In Flight by David Regal.
