Took a punt on this one as it’s not usually my style of magic. However I was intrigued and thought it might be a nice thing to carry for the right occasion. It does get a good reaction and plays well. Getting the calculator onto the spectators phone is the only tricky part. There is a bit of misdirection required and you would need to practice on both iPhone and android device to make it smooth as some memory work is required. I follow it after using DFB (Digital Force Bag) type trick where I borrow the spectators phone to look for a celebrity reveal and it gives me plenty of time and a perfect excuse for shielding their view from their phone. I have also replaced the NFC chip with a wearable NFC ring that looks natural on my ring finger and I am left clean with nothing to ditch. Good trick and something different

Just when you thought iOS had stopped us from doing these calculator tricks, Pulse saves the day!
Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
I'm a 85 O.A.P. & retired magician, performed my last stage show on my 84 birthday.
But I have to say I tried E.S. on myself just after opening & I was truly shocked.
Now I only perform for family & friends, I definitely will be using E.S. to shock others.
With E.S. I give the cards to be shuffled & then remove any card they wish & show others.
After they have given me the rest of cards, (I secretly add gimmick to bottom of deck)
Then spread & drop a few cards on table continue spreading & dropping until they say STOP.
They place their chosen card, I then place rest of cards on top. (gimmick on top of their card.
I square up & cut the cards. This places gimmick at bottom their selection on top.
With cards facing me I remove cards to test, finally remove gimmick. SHOCK!! switch with top.

An easy to do effect that might be OK in the correct situation. It is very procedural as to be expected & as with all tricks in this genre it has the best outcome with several not so good. Excellent service from Alex as usual.
