This is, without any doubt, exactly the ID I personally needed. I have an issue that very few have - my hands are abnormally dry. When I say dry, I mean I can't turn pages of a book or open up a bin bag. I need to lick my fingers. My hands are completely devoid of moisture.
I understand this is very much a me problem and I'm in the minority, but with a normal ID, I have two huge issues:
1. I have to heavily lick all five digits on my hand, which is just excessive. I'm also on a timer - if I leave it too long my digits will dry and if I do it too fast the cards will get wet. So this is a fine tuning I've had to learn.
2. Because of how much spit I have to apply in order to have the grip to seperate the cards, it also means there's a high chance that I accidentally seperate cards by mistake. It's either too much moisture, or not enough. I've got better through the years, but it's still always a risk.
THIS however.....this works every single time with absolutely no licking required. With bone dry hands, I can perform this any time, immediately. It's way easier to seperate the cards, but you're still in complete control. I'd actually argue you have MORE control.
Furthermore, it looks exactly the same from a spectator's perspective - if anything, it looks even more natural.
For those (few) that have my issue, GET THIS RIGHT NOW. For the huge amount that don't have my issue, I'd say get it anyway. It's just less risky and way more comfortable to use. Because of how it works, you're not relying on the moisture and/or grip of your fingers. The way in which you're releasing the grip the cards have to eachother is very simple and clean looking.
