The card clip you carry to protect your precious pasteboards is now a utility device for vanishes, transformations, and even teleportations. Your everyday carry just got a whole lot more magical. A classic revamped as only Nicholas Lawrence could, this is The Vanishing Card Case.
Here’s what happens:
You take a deck of cards out of your pocket and show that it is encased in a sturdy clip to keep them protected from the rigours of everyday life. You take the box out of the clip offering a little challenge to your spectators. Can they name the colour of the card guard? Black. They are correct. Can they name the colour of the deck? Red. They are once again correct. The cards are placed back in the guard, and for the final question, did they see the cards jump? That’s when you open your hands to reveal that the cards have completely vanished and reappeared in your pocket. Then, you can go into your favourite routines.
The Vanishing Card Case is an update to a classic effect found in magic shops all over the world. Card clips are fast becoming standard accessories for anyone familiar with playing cards or gambling, so this specially gimmicked clip has been designed to be simple and elegant while hiding a crazy secret.
The gimmicked box and tutorial from Craig Petty give you several full routines ready to perform. Use the gimmick to make the cards vanish, change colour, and even teleport at your command. Use it as a single moment in a longer routine or as a quick flashy vanish. No matter your style of performance The Vanishing Card Case will earn a home in your pocket.
"Vanishing card case is a classic effect bought bang up to date and the visuals are so much better! I need one of these!! So organic! Love it." - Chris Congreave
"A clever, clean and class effect! A great way to open, close or just a fun effect to put into your close up act! I want one!" - Nikola Arkane
"I love this! So clever and So deceptive. A classic reborn" - Roddy McGhie
"When I saw the vanish, I felt immediately transported to being 5 years old, seeing the original version. Nicholas has created the perfect visual evolution of the classic effect, built into an item we are all familiar with. And the routines included make this a justified, interesting prop, which is a revolution in and of itself! I'm super excited to begin using this in my close up set!" - Judah Gabriel
Very happy with this lovely trick, a vast improvement on the original, well worth the money.
Yet again Alex, brilliant service, well done!
Thank you

Not good
I should have realised, if Craig Petty was endorsing this, it would be average at best.

I had heard good things about this book, so decided to pick it up. It's a great read full of great effects like colour changing knives, to sponge balls. But the best bits are the little details and the small changes you can make. Well worth picking up.
It's a clever little trick but I can only give it 4 stars because, the cards are not examinable plus unless you can be as slick and fast as how its shown in the video plus also get the timing right between what you say and do (at the same time - ie a distraction), the spectator will easily guess the trick.
I know the price is low but it reminds me of a Z-Fold wallet I had when I was a kid in a magic kit. It is poor quality for saying it’s come from Murphy’s Magic stable. I feel it’s only worth a fiver. If you put more than 3 items inside the magnets will not connect. It feels like thin plastic stuck on thick card. Sorry but I will not be using it as it looks cheap.
No reflection on Monster at all, Alex always delivers fast as always,
