"The way Carey thinks about magic is exactly how we all should-clear, efficient, and deeply magical."
- Ben Earl
"An absolute treasure trove. I use John's material constantly. This is the book I wish I had when I was starting out."
- Michael O'Brien
"Carey is the king of 'doable miracles.' This book is worth ten times the price."
I am a big fan of John Carey and have watched many of his lectures. He's fun to watch with his corny one liners but more importantly the tricks he teaches (not all his own but he always credits) are great. Basically, you can go out with a pack of regular cards in your back pocket and perform mini miracles and that's what I love. No carrying loads of gaff decks for different tricks. Most tricks are short and sweet and can be combined with a couple of others to perform nice little routines. Skill wise most are beginner friendly and still pack a punch. This book is a fantastic addition to any bookshelf and when you include all the video links as well it is tremendous value. Also great fast delivery from Monster again. Thank you Alex and John.

The OG perfect score was great and did its job for me for years , Perfect Score 2.0 outshines its original . Great tutorial going in depth on the mercury fold and even card splitting . 5 Stars !
The usual speedy delivery by Alex. Lovely props, and clever routine, although I haven’t used it in the trenches yet. Knocked one star off as the red poker chip had a minor chip (damage) in it. This is a product issue though and absolutely no reflection on Monster Magic.
Needs a bit of practice to get angles / timing down , but put that in and you’ve got a visual masterpiece in your hands . Instant reset , tutorial is fantastic 100% a worker
