Here's the gist:

You've got four beer bottle caps. They start in one hand, and somehow, they end up in the other. Both hands are shown, so no funny business there. It's a bit like magic, but with fewer rabbits and a lot more bottle caps. Not sure why this fools folks as well as it does, but it seems to work.
