Castle Wallet by Simon Lipkin

First of all, I have to praise Alex and Monster Magic, the package arrived on time and I am very satisfied with their business, this is currently my main site for purchasing.
Now regarding the product itself. I have been buying props from all possible sites for many years and I have never had such a disappointing experience. I am a big fan of Simon Lipkin and 1914, I own a lot of their products, but this really deserves criticism.
First, European cards DO NOT fit. I tried with all the cards I had contact with, the wallet is wider and they all fall out. It can be "solved" by cramming at least 7 cards and then they "not so easily" fall out of the wallet.
Second, since the tutorial and promo material state that the wallet is perfect for 1914 billets, I ordered two packages and found out that NONE OF THEM fit the wallet. The billets are too long for the wallet and therefore cannot be locked, so the already "loose" cards fall out of the wallet even more easily. Of course, I can manually cut each billet individually, but that's not the point, nor do I want to waste time on something that is said to fit perfectly with the prop.
And thirdly, the quality of the wallet is not at all enviable. In less than a week, a screw fell out and the wallet is currently unusable. I tried to find a screw in watch shops and eyeglass repair shops, but so far everything has been unsuccessful. I hope I will be able to fix it somehow.
All in all, a great idea with terrible execution. I hope that in the future consumers will be more respected and that the products will be of the expected quality.
Only out of respect for Simon, the rating is 3/5, otherwise it would be lower.

First off just want to say how incredible Alex is. I ordered the Castle Wallet at 4.15pm with free delivery and by 1pm the following day I had it in my hands. Just amazing service. Brilliant!!!!

As for the wallet. This is an amazingly sneeky peek wallet. It’s well made and can clearly see it’s taken not only some thought but I guess many prototypes to get to this one and it’s perfect.

If you don’t do card to wallet and just enjoy peek wallets, then this will bring your performance bang up to date I think.

Looks modern. It’s sleek and well; just amazing.

100% recommended that’s for sure, as well as Monster Magic and the incredible Alex.

I own, like many of us, lots of wallets and was a bit unsure if I would use this style of wallet but after having it a week it goes out with me everytime. It is practical for day to day real use and can be used to perform some great effects both pre prepared or just off the cuff. The peek is good but to be fair I have enough wallets that do that already (it is only on part of the card but is easily managable). The ease you can DW on it is brilliant and my favourite part. You do need to be careful with what billets you use, I used some that were to slim and made it hard to DW as they moved but this was easily fixed with a visit to Amazon. All in all a great utility.

Whilst having a quite a few mentalism wallets in my collection already, I reckon this will be the last one I'll ever need. Looks modern and trendy....does anyone ever say 'trendy' these days? Well built with an array of handling ideas in the download. Super easy, almost guilt free peek. Will not replace my SAW as an EDC, but a great partner and it easily fits in a shirt pocket.

You can buy pvc whiteboard type cards from Amazon and you don’t have to use billets then. And the writing does not wipe off when slid in the wallet.
