A collaboration between Flat Base (creator of PIN) and TCC, brings a miracle in the audience's hands to the world of cube magic.
The Effect
The magician introduces a prediction bag and two cubes. An audience member selects one, signs it, and scrambles it. Both cubes are placed into a paper bag. The magician removes the unscrambled cube, leaving the signed, scrambled one inside. In a startling moment, the paper bag is crushed flat: the signed cube has completely vanished.
The magician opens the prediction bag to reveal a locked transparent box. Inside sits the audience's signed, scrambled cube. After this impossible revelation, you can seamlessly transition into other routines, such as an instant solve or a pattern matching effect.
Alternative Presentation: You can also start with a scrambled cube already locked inside the transparent box. After making the audience’s signed cube vanish, the cube inside the box is revealed to be the very one they signed.
Ultimate Transparency: Perform at a very close distance. Every prop is fully inspectable after the effect, ensuring a high sense of mystery and participation.
Many cube effects are difficult to perform "in the hands" or ends with "unclean" props. Crystal Prison solves both, providing a clean, high-impact finish.
More than just a transposition, it is an expandable framework:
Cube Transposition: High engagement with a profound mental impact.
Prediction & Reveal: The premium storage pouch doubles as your prediction bag.
Seamless Integration: Transition effortlessly into instant solves or matching routines.

Special thanks to Takamiz Usui for designing this plot and authorising its use. For further study, we highly recommend his Penguin Magic Lecture.
I am very impressed with this ‘trick’, and it’s quite easy to perform too. Like the idea, it’s something different. A great addition to cube magic fans. Alex, you are the best for advice, service and speedy posting. A credit to the magic world.

Son wanted this product but it wasn't in stock. We COULD have ordered it from a competitor, but last time they took two weeks to deliver instead of the 3 days max promised. Alex ordered it in and had it shipped out pronto - just SO glad Alex is about! Son has had various thumb tips but when he showed them to me the warm white light was much brighter than I'd expected - definitely thumb tips with a difference.
This is a fantastic utility device for card/bill/billet to impossible location. v2.0 is now twice as strong as v1.0 meaning the switch happens even quicker. Very nicely built.
An absolutely amazing magic trick that is so easy. The gimmick is great and the instructional video explains everything you need to know about the product. Once the card had finished moving however I did a hear the gimmick a tiny bit but besides that it completely silent. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
