For decades, the Linking Finger Rings has been one of the most elegant and intimate effects in all of magic. But while the effect is timeless, its methods have always come with compromises-until now.
After years of using existing gimmicks, award-winning magician and creator Carisa Hendrix set out to reinvent the effect for a modern audience. The result is Nova Ring, the most visual, practical, and beautifully engineered version of the Linking Finger Rings ever made.
Three rings are borrowed from your spectators. One by one, you link them together. Then, with a simple gesture, one ring melts free and can be handed back immediately. For the finale, the final ring visibly melts off another right in your spectator's open hand. It looks like real magic.
All of this is made possible by the new Nova Ring gimmick. Based on Pete Biro's legendary "Ghostly Finger Rings" and used with permission from the Joe Porper estate, Nova Ring replaces bulky signet-style rings with sleek, everyday designs modelled after modern metal and fitness rings. They look completely ordinary and are indistinguishable from the ones worn by your audience.
The set includes three gimmicked rings (in black, gold, and silver) and three matching un-gimmicked rings, all crafted to withstand years of performance. Everything fits perfectly into the included custom case, which not only protects the rings but also doubles as a secret utility device during performance.
You'll also receive in-depth video instruction from Carisa herself. She walks you through the full history, handling, and philosophy behind the effect, along with five live performances showing how the routine plays for different audiences and venues. This effect is superb , props are excellently made and this is what a tutorial is meant to be like ! Very in depth , multiple angles , close up , parlour and stage options . 100% workable table hopping and walk around . The “jam” session with peter turner is excellent giving you a few additional effects which are really really good . Over all very pleased with the whole package .5 stars all day long !
I love this so much. It’s so simple but so unbelievable good. It stays on me all the time now and holds my coins ready for a trick at any time. Love it. Buy it, practice with it, create with it. Wonderful.
This is great fun. It’s well made and reasonably sturdy + should last for a while. The bank card fits well and is a realistic size. Check to see if a slightly thicker playing card (x5 cards thickness) will actually fit in your wallet/phone case though!
