The Effect

The magician displays a bright red handkerchief, announcing that a miracle is about to occur. Slowly and deliberately, the silk is pushed into the left fist—only to transform into an egg before the audience’s eyes.

The secret appears simple: it’s just a hollow egg. With playful confidence, the magician “exposes” the method, showing how the silk is hidden inside. The crowd laughs, certain they’ve caught on.

But then comes the twist.

The magician peels the hole off the egg, places it onto his forehead, then cracks the egg open proving it’s real. And as the perfect kicker, he reaches up and pulls the vanished handkerchief from the hole now on his forehead, leaving the audience in total disbelief.

Good props

Best quality props for Silk to Egg I had up to date (previous ones were terrible so to be honest the bar was pretty low). I really like the packaging and the content. One thing I could complain about is that the tutorial could be slightly longer, and could go over some nuances in the performance, but perhaps this complaining is due to the tutorials of other tricks that included such things in their content and now I'm slightly biased. Nonetheless, I think it's a really good prop for such price

Not bad, but it could have been better.

The set is excellent, but I expected slightly better quality.
The white egg is somehow softer than the brown one, and it has a small hole in it right in the center (annoying). It really upsets me when manufacturers don't fix defective products.
The eggs themselves smell quite strongly of rubber.
The Silks are good. It's great that the set includes an egg tray that can be used to transport the entire set, including the real eggs.
The tutorial video is filmed vertically for some reason.
And, frankly, I adore Michael Ammar, but I prefer Pop Haydn's Sucker Silk to Egg routine. I recommend checking it out and adding a couple of elements from Michael Ammar's tutorial (for example, "dipping" your finger into the real egg).

Not bad.

Worth buying for the eggs which have a nice “grip” to them. The silks are quite heavy and are difficult to fully shove into the gimmick. I would recommend investing in some finer silks which I’m sure Alex can supply. Delivery and service obviously as good as ever.
