In the early 1800s, French magician Robert-Houdin popularised an iconic illusion called the Light and Heavy Chest. The demonstration was remarkable. It was the power to restore and remove the spectator's sense of strength and power on your command.
TNT, the Tear No Tear Deck, is an all new, ultra portable, ultra practical take on this legendary concept. This is so much more than a trick. It's a unique and unforgettable experience that blends mind control, psychology, and impossible magic.
Here's what happens. Your participant chooses any card, and then you ask them to simply tear it in half. They'll try, but no matter how hard they pull, the card remains intact. In the same moment, you take back the card and tear it effortlessly.
You can even repeat the effect with the torn pieces. No matter how hard they try, they won't be able to rip the card. You're in complete control, being able to turn on and off the spectator’s strength with the same card. There are no switches.
You'll receive 52 undetectable gimmicks that seamlessly match our traditional Red Monarch deck. You'll also receive a regular Red Monarch deck that pairs perfectly. Over 5 years in the making, TNT was performed by Dynamo on his 2023 and 2024 television specials. Tear No Tear was created independently by Nicholas Lawrence, and this effect has been in development with theory11 since November 2020. Over the years, a number of other effects have been published with similar plots and methods, although none identical to the gimmick and unique mass production methods utilised in TNT, as performed on television by Dynamo in December 2023 and December 2024.

With most magic there is always things left out in the description, so I was expecting to have to switch the card or do something that might be noticeable, but it was not the case here. The card they can't tear you can then they can tear it or not tear it in the next phase. I totally love doing this, it could become expensive if you were to do it a lot, but I appreciate that the props are specially made. This is going to be in my show and a backup in my hypnosis show.

Cool little tool for very specific purpose. Does say could be used for a coin...not sure i would. Also, probably wont last too long if used frequently. The price however is very fair. Tutorial as long as it needs to be but no demo of the holdout in performance if that's what's to be expected.
Simple to perform, baffling for who you do it to and Max Maven.. add them all together and you get a 5 star trick.. more if you add in Monster Magics customer service (second to none).
Agree with the other reviewers that the "copy" gimmick should have been different (hence my rating of 4 stars and not 5 ). Having said that it's a very easy and a 100% fooling trick in performance. You'll need to be able to "spread" the cards on a table or flat surface well, which will need practise. You can also perform the entire trick WITHOUT the gimmick too, which is explained on the video tutorial, which means you can show ALL the cards and thus end in a 100% cleaner way. Excellent service from Alex as usual.
